How do Flush Fit Padeyes work?

Flush fit padeyes provide a secure, quick-release deck attachment point for tender, jetski and Seabob tie-down straps, while leaving a clean recessed finish when the straps are removed.

The flush fit padeye base is permanently installed into the deck and works with a removable padeye attachment key fitted to the end of the tie-down strap. The key is pushed into the padeye socket, rotated to lock, and then removed when the strap is no longer required.

Flush Deck Fitting

The padeye base is permanently fitted into the deck, giving a clean and low-trip-hazard finish when not in use.

Spring-Loaded Mechanism

The attachment key locates into the padeye socket and is held by the spring-loaded retaining mechanism.

Designed for Deck Installation

The flush version is routed into the deck so the upper face sits neatly within the deck surface.

Weather-Tight Spring-Loaded Seal

When the strap fitting is not installed, the padeye has a spring-loaded weather seal to help stop water, dirt and debris entering the fitting. This keeps the deck fitting cleaner and helps protect the internal mechanism when the padeye is not in use.

How the Push-Turn System Works

Insert the Key

The padeye attachment key on the end of the tie-down strap is pushed into the deck-mounted padeye socket.

Turn 90 Degrees

The key is rotated through 90 degrees. This allows it to locate into the retaining slot inside the padeye.

Release to Lock

When the key is released, the spring-loaded mechanism helps retain the fitting securely in place.

Tension the Strap

Once the padeye fitting is locked in place, the ratchet strap can be tensioned to secure the tender, jetski or Seabob.

To remove: release strap tension ➜ push down ➜ turn back 90° ➜ lift out
