Tools to aid an easier install
Caulk line padeyes provide a discreet quick-release deck attachment point designed to visually integrate with the caulking lines of a teak deck.
The caulk line padeye base is permanently fitted into or alongside the deck caulking detail. The removable padeye attachment key is pushed into the padeye, turned to lock, and removed when the strap is no longer required.
The caulk line padeye is designed to blend into the deck caulking layout.
The strap key uses a push-turn locking action to secure into the padeye.
The fitting is installed to align with the caulking detail for a discreet finish.
Push the padeye attachment key into the deck-mounted socket.
Turn the key through 90 degrees so it locates securely inside the padeye.
Tension the ratchet strap to secure the tender, jetski or Seabob.
Release tension, push down, turn back and lift the fitting out.
Correct installation, suitable deck structure, compatible straps, the correct number of padeyes and suitable lashing angles are all important when securing a tender, jetski or Seabob onboard.
