Stainless steel mooring whip stanchion mounts provide a clean, removable-style mounting solution for fitting tender mooring whips to suitable yacht stanchions. Made to measure for your stanchion and whip dimensions, each mount is designed with a polished stainless steel finish, Delrin sleeve and angled whip socket to help position the mooring whip correctly.

These mounts are ideal where deck-mounted whip bases are not suitable, or where the preferred fixing point is an existing stanchion structure. Please provide the required stanchion and whip measurements when requesting a quote.

How to measure a tapered stanchion for mooring whip stanchion mounts

Required Measurements

Please send your measurements in millimetres when requesting a quote.

1. Straight Stanchion

If your stanchion is the same diameter from the base to the mid-section, please send the outside diameter, also known as the O.D., in mm.

2. Tapered Stanchion

If your stanchion is tapered, please send the O.D. measurements for A and B, as shown in the image. Measurement X = 150mm.

3. Whip Base Diameter

Please also provide the mooring whip diameter at the base end if you are not purchasing mooring whips from us.
