Low Profile Padeye kit components
Low profile padeyes provide a neat quick-release deck attachment point where a recessed flush fitting may not be suitable.
The low profile padeye is fitted to the deck and works with a removable padeye attachment key fitted to the end of the tie-down strap. The key is pushed into the fitting, turned to lock, and removed when the strap is no longer required.
The low profile version provides a discreet deck attachment point without a traditional raised eyebolt.
The removable strap fitting locks into the padeye using the push-turn principle.
The low profile padeye is installed where a fully recessed fitting is not required or not suitable.
Push the padeye attachment key into the deck-mounted fitting.
Turn the key through 90 degrees so it locks securely into the padeye.
Tension the ratchet strap to secure the tender, jetski or Seabob.
Release tension, push down, turn back and lift the fitting out.
Correct installation, suitable deck structure, compatible straps, the correct number of padeyes and suitable lashing angles are all important when securing a tender, jetski or Seabob onboard.
